Our story

Clinique des Montres is a watchmaking workshop in the medina of Salé, Morocco, run by watchmaker Miloud Nejmi since 1981. The workshop repairs and services watches, and sells original brand-name watches, new and pre-owned, each one checked by the watchmaker, with a 2-month warranty.

Miloud & the watch on the beach

Since 1981, Miloud NEJMI has kept alive a craft that is very rare in Morocco: fine watch repair. Every watch entrusted to us gets meticulous attention, whatever its brand, whatever its age.

The founding legend

  1. His friends challenged him on the beach of the Salé Medina: "Fix this watch, here, right now, without tools."
  2. Miloud smiled, picked up an old rusty nail from the sand and crouched down. Ten minutes of complete silence.
  3. The watch rang. His friends, the passers-by: all speechless. That is 45 years of passion, distilled into two hands.

Because a watch is not just an object. It is a memory. A legacy. A link between generations.

Repairs
The workshop repairs watches of every brand: battery replacement and adding or removing links while you wait, crystal replacement in 1 to 2 days, full service, gaskets and water-resistance test, cleaning and other repairs. Diagnosis costs 30 MAD and the quote is free.
New and pre-owned watches
The shop sells original brand-name watches, new and pre-owned, at fixed prices. The watchmaker checks every watch before it goes on sale.
Warranty
Every watch sold has a 2-month warranty on how it runs (movement, parts and labour, at the workshop). The warranty does not cover water, breakage, a fall, or any outside intervention or part.
Collection and delivery
A watch ordered online can be collected at the workshop or delivered anywhere in Morocco, within 2 to 5 working days of confirmation. For a distance purchase, the customer has 7 days to change their mind.

At the workshop, we speak Darija, Arabic, French and English.
